Georgia GOAL
Georgia GOAL is the official student scholarship organization (SSO) for schools sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta. All students receiving a GOAL scholarship have demonstrated financial need as determined by a third-party analysis of a family's ability to pay tuition. GOAL offers aid to both Catholic and non-Catholic families based on need.
To be eligible, any Georgia resident entering second grade and above must be coming directly from a Georgia public school. Residents applying for their child for Pre-K4 through 1st grades do not have to transfer from a GA public school to be eligible to apply for a Georgia GOAL Scholarship.
Goizueta Foundation Scholarships
The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund annually awards three $1,500 scholarships to current Immaculate Heart of Mary School students. This scholarship is available for Hispanic/Latino families (Catholic or non-Catholic) already enrolled at Immaculate Heart of Mary School.
This scholarship honors the life of long-time librarian Vivian Adan. Her daughters, Vivian Adan Lowe and Alicia Adan Harwell, founded this scholarship Through their generosity and support of a one-day giving event, the fund was fully endowed in 2018, allowing the school to make the first award in May 2021. The teachers and librarian nominate 5th grade students who demonstrate a voracious passion for reading. The nominees are tasked with writing an essay and the winner is selected by the scholarship committee.
