Family picnics: Fall events to welcome new families to IHM. It’s a great way to meet families that your child will be classmates with for years to come. Separated by grade level.
Pizza DJ Night: Students Pre-K through 5th grade will dance the night away with games, glow sticks and great music. This event is a great way for Middle School students to volunteer their time and talent for the younger students.
Parents Trivia Night: A fun night for adults to arrange their own teams and show who’s the smartest! Bring appetizers and beverages of your choice to enjoy with your table. Winning table gets awards.
Soaring Eagle Road Race: This is one of our largest fundraising events. The race is held in late April and brings all IHM families together to enjoy a 5K, 1-mile or toddler sprint.
IHM Gala: Every two years IHM hosts a fantastic evening in the spring where adults dress up and socialize with IHM parents. There is also a live auction that has amazing items to bid on to raise money for IHM.
Catholic Schools Week Breakfast: Yearly event welcoming parish and community families interested in Catholic school education. This event is a collaboration between Home & School and IHM School’s Faith Formation Director.
Middle School Socials: The Middle School committee does an amazing job planning middle school dances and social events throughout the year, including holiday breakfasts, dances, carnivals, and more.
Pastries with Parents: This is a Spring event celebrating IHM parents. Grade levels rotate annually.
Veteran’s Day Program: IHM hosts the veterans in our community with a special assembly, where our 2nd Graders perform, and reception in their honor.
Monthly Teacher Treats: Each month the grades take turns providing teacher treats in the staff lounge.
Teacher Appreciation Week: A week-long celebration of special events hosted by the Home & School Board. The theme changes each year with new surprises, meals, etc.
School Supply Sales: Each April/May, the HSA promotes early ordering of the next year’s school supplies. This is an easy fundraiser that also allows you to enjoy your summer, free of school supply shopping!
Read-a-Thon: Every other year (on non-gala years), HSA runs a read-a-thon during Read Across America week. This is a collaboration with teachers and the Media Center.
Staff Welcome Lunch: During Pre-Planning, a luncheon for teachers and staff returning to school.
Staff Christmas Party: Mid-year holiday celebration for the faculty and staff.
Used Uniform Shop: You can donate your used uniforms to the shop to be resold during our monthly sales and summer sales. This is a great and easy way to raise money for Home & School! Parents can come shop the used uniform inventory for uniform items and to pick-up FREE spirit-wear.
Praying Hands / Spiritual Hands: These parents work with the Spiritual Life committee of HSA to facilitate needs of families in our school community. Examples include meal trains, prayer chains, etc.
