Grandparents Day at IHM is a special day with a long history!  For decades, the school has invited grandparents to mass, musical performances, school tours, and more. While the day's structure has changed over the years, the feeling of community, love, and family has stayed the same.

Typically, the celebration begins with daily Mass with Middle School students, followed by musical performances with the elementary grades and our Dinner Theater cast. After the performances, grandparents can enjoy coffee & pastries (this reception is adults-only) then join their grandchildren in the classrooms.

From then until 11:30am, grandparents and students can get their pictures taken, play carnival games in the gym, or do arts and crafts in the Middle School rooms. And don't forget the "fan favorite"... Honorary Library books! Stop by the library to purchase a book for our school's collection, in honor of your grandchild.
