Phase 1 will add an additional layer of security at the main entrance of the school.  A safety vestibule will be added to the area between the front entrance doors and the main office.  This additional security checkpoint will consist of a wall and an added set of locked doors at the entry to the office.  When visiting the school, guests will continue to be buzzed in at the front entrance doors.  A kiosk for checking in/out students or to sign in to volunteer, will be located in the vestibule.  Once sign in is complete, guests will be buzzed in to have access to the rest of the building.  The estimated costs for completion is $15-20K.
 

Phase 2 of the project will add additional lighting on the front and sides of the school buildings. This improved lighting will allow for safe play and navigation to parking areas when attending and leaving school events that extend into the evening hours.  The estimate for Phase 2 is $10-12K.
